Jared's Trip to Germany and Austria August 2008

This August, Jared was invited by his father to join him and two of his brothers, Sean and Jeff, on a trip to Germany and Austria.  They covered a lot of ground in just ten days!  They made it to Berlin, Dresden, Mitterode, Dachau, Munich, Koblenz, Darmstadt, Salzburg and many other cities.  The purpose of the trip was to go to Mitterode where Jared's Great-Grandfather was from.  These are just a few of the 900+ pictures he took.  Enjoy!

Our Trip to San Francisco September 2008

I have been wanting to see Lucy Lawless in concert for a while now, so when the opportunity to go to a show in San Francisco came along, I bought a ticket.  We decided it would be better if Jared came with me, just to be safe.  We went to San Fran on our honeymoon in 2004 and we were both excited to be able to go back.  We wanted to see and do a few things we couldn't before and re-do some things we did the last time.  This included the Ghirardelli Sundaes!  So here's a small slideshow of our trip!

It was a ton of fun, and we felt like we were there for a week and a half when in reality it was only a day and a half. We were both ready to go home, but we had a great time! We wouldn't want to live there, but we can't wait to go back.

Howdy

This is the first post for our new blog. I'm not sure why I decided to do this for us, other that that everyone else is doing it. Even my luddite sister has a blog (hi Meg!). Now to get the other one on it. Haha.

If you don't know who we are, it's probably best not to keep reading as you'll probably find it really boring. And this probably won't get updated all that often because we don't have kids to brag about or anything. Just cats and tropical fish, and a great dane that visits once in a while.
